PRESS: Rosatom, Roscosmos suspend new deals with hostile states

MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin ordered state nuclear power corporation Rosatom and state space corporation Roscosmos to suspend signing of new contracts with firms from the states that introduced anti-Russian sanctions at the start of past week, Kommersant business daily reported on Wednesday citing sources.

Rogozin ordered the companies to delay signing any legally binding documents at the beginning of the past week, the source and two top managers of one of the corporations told the business daily.

The order does not cover contracts that are already in force, but should restrict the U.S. access to hatch module technologies that the U.S. planned to get while creating the Lunar Orbital Platform-Gateway, Kommersant reported.

Roscosmos and Rosatom are yet to issue corresponding official statements.
